I am the artful artist while reading my book i have read intersting things.One of my pictures was about a lion taking Roalds freinds wife.In the picture i drew a lion biting a girl and the two men trying to save her.In the end the two men Roald and his freind shot the lion and glazed the lion making it let go of the girl the lion ran off and the girl was safe.Turns out that the lion never bit the girl hard just lipped her like she was one of her/his very own cubs. What would you do in a situation that a lion had your freind?
My role is the discussion director.What that is ,is writing 5 questions about the text you just read and disscuss them with yuor litiuar circle .Would you have been suprised when royal found out that mdisho took his sword if so why if not what were you thinking.I was feeling suprised because from what i8 have read in the book mdisho has been loyal to his master and obeyed him.Iguess that he was pretty wound up when he found out about the whole war with the germans.I think that when he saw royals sword he just felt like he had power and went out and killed the german man in thw white house

I agree with you Tiffany because loyal people that are loyal should not steal they should do the right thing.It would of been easier to ask for the sword than to just take it.
Austin i beleve that the lion wasnt carrying the wife hard because she wasnt fightin or being threating so the lion was not threataned making it seem that she is freindly and not a predator.
I remember when that lion had took the chefs wife . That was terrifying because when I was reading i did not know what was going to happend.It was good that the wife was safe because imagine if the lion had killed ate the chefs wife he would of been really sad.All that running and chasing after that lion and he killed the wife
I think that the lion carried the chefs wife because i think the lion did not really mesn to hurt the women i think that he/she was holding the women as if she was her own cubs . to me most animals are not naturally mean it s just they are pretective so when the lion took the women it did not really mean to hurt her
I am literary luminary and picked the paragraph ''pitty about the dog. you'd better take it out the way before the children see it''. i picked that paragraph because the children were so sad because they didnt have their ddog and now it's dead.

well flor, I think that the children will cry and sob out because if i ever lost one of my dogs I know that i would be very sad and save money for a new dog
My role was Artful artist I drew the German man giving Roald a hard time and him raising his arms saying to fire the cannon and the man dying.I picked this part of the book because it was a exciting part,and I thought Roald would of died.What do you think would of happened if Roald didnt raise his arms and kill the man?
My role was Wordsmith and the words that I chose to point out were barracks, vigorous, appendix, eccentricities, and cantharides. I chose these words because I do not know what they mean entirely. Barracks is a place of some sort, vigorous is an adjective, appendix is a body part, eccentricities is a possesion of some sort, and cantharides is some sort of food or drink. As for my thoughts on the book, I happen to think that the story is quite interesting and even though I found a few words I didn't understand, I was still able to enjoy the book. My question to the members of my group is, did you find any words that you did not understand?
Austin M I dissagree with your comment on that people go to war to just experience and to learn alot more about it. People go to war to keep the country they belive in safe and to show pride in their country.
To Flor, I believe that the children will be quite forlorn when they find out the news about their dog dying, in fact, they might cry their eyes out! I know I wouldn't be happy if my dog died (I don't own a dog, though).
Brinen i also think they will cry and want their dog back and maybe they will get another dog that lookslike the one that got bitten by the snake and the children wont notice
katie i found that part very exciting as well i thought roald would not have the guts to open fire on the germans but one of my favorite parts if you have gotten to it yet was the plane crash i thought with the medical condition he sufferd from the crash such as the blindness he would not fly but he got right back to his plane.
To Makir, I think people join the military now because it really helps our country, especially during wars like this one. I don't know if I'd ever like to join the military though.

My role is text connector and I made some connections like when I was younger there was a snake in my back yard and at my Aunts house there was a snake in her bathroom and that all relates to the snake going into the Fuller's house in the story.I felt scared. Would you like to have a green mamba as a pet and why?

I'm the discution directer and I can now relat to when they found the green mamba. My cat was found past on in the kitchen like the dog. My sisters were like the kids that remembered the dog in the first place. I liked the part when the venom of the green mamba is ozing down the side of snakemans boots. brittanyp... No. I don't think that having a green mamba for a pet will be a good idea because of how venomous they are. Also, what if it got loose?
